How to calculate GST

Excluding GST from gross sum:
GST calculation formula for GST exclusion is the following: to calculate GST having the gross amount you should divide the gross amount by 1 + GST percentage multiply by -1 and round to the closest rupee.
Adding GST to net amount:
Simply multiply the net amount by 1 + GST percentage (i.e. multiply by 1.15 if GST is 15%) and you'll get the gross amount. Or multiply by GST percentage to get the GST value.
